The municipal cemeteries are regularly maintained and cleaned by cemetery staff as part of cemetery upkeep. Structural facilities are kept in good repair, and new cemetery and grave installations are created. To ensure a smooth and respectful funeral process, the employees of TBV AöR take care of the implementation and handling of funeral services.

In accordance with the Law on the Preservation of the Graves of Victims of War and Tyranny (Gräbergesetz), the staff also maintain and care for war graves, memorials, and Jewish cemeteries throughout the city.
